The U420F-15M supports Ultra HD 8K resolutions up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz and 4K resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 144 Hz with 30-bit Deep Color. It also supports HDR (High Dynamic Range), providing a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks that pop on your display. HDCP 2.2 encryption allows you to stream 4K content with no loss in resolution. This cable also supports uncompressed 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor.

It also provides power output up to 20V 2A (40W), which is enough to power most laptops, as well as connected equipment or travel displays. The plug-and-play cable is compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 devices, as well as USB-C.
